Marbellesa Park

In 2011 the Kavanaghs acquired the renowned horse property 'Tremon Stud', a picturesque property located at Gisborne South, an ideal thirty minute drive from Flemington. Purpose built as a breeding and spelling farm the property had a history of success under the Tremon banner producing several stakes winners such as Jenue King Prawn, Creative Plan and Spying.

Renamed 'Marbellesa Park' the farm has since played host to the Kavanagh trained Group One winners Atlantic Jewel, December Draw, Super Cool and Magicool all of whom spelled between racing campaigns at the property.

The 220 acre landholding of fertile volcanic soil and improved pastures, is divided into 29 paddocks and yards of all sizes which are serviced by a lane way system. The fences are post and rail with diamond mesh horse fencing - the safest known construction and used by studs world wide.

Complimenting the landholding are two outstanding stable complexes, vet areas, stallion stables with walk out yards and an enclosed round yard. The Kavanaghs also installed a new track to allow for pre-training at the property.
