2018 Shalaa (IRE) x Quasera Filly

This impressive filly is by first season sire Shalaa out of Quasera (half-sister to multiple Group performer Hurried Choice) she came straight from the breakers to my Flemington stable and has benefited from the education and work load placed on her. She has been through the gates twice and has exceeded expectations, showing natural speed on both occasions. She is a tall filly and has a bit of filling out to do so she is heading to my farm to enjoy the rich spring grass. She will be back in the stable in four weeks for her first race preparation and should be at the races towards the end of January.
Shalaa was the top rated 2015 juvenile in England and France and stands in Australia at Arrowfield Stud. His yearlings have reached $600,000 in the sales ring and he has already produced an impressive 2yo trial winner down under. In the Northern hemisphere he has sired 12 individual winners in five countries from his first European crop. Her dam, Quasera is a half-sister to dual Group 2 winner, Hurried Choice (winner of the Challenge Stakes and Theo Marks Quality).
All of the yearlings we purchase go through stringent tests before purchase, have met x-ray, scope and veterinary requirements to ensure they can handle racing.
