Celebrating the Spring of 2013

A pleasant spring morning awaited owners and friends who attended the Kavanagh stables 'Spring Celebration' on Sunday.

After a big weekend of racing which included the Manikato Stakes on Friday night and Cox Plate on Saturday the Kavanagh stable welcomed around 300 guests to their Flemington stables for a spring get together.

Guests enjoyed coffee and brunch and toured the stable complex visiting with their horses while pony rides proved popular with the kids. Pats and cuddles were the order of the day with many horses lapping up the attention including injured star Atlantic Jewel.

Trainer Mark Kavanagh was keen to show off several of his two-year-olds and paraded colts by Street Cry, Medaglia D'oro and Written Tycoon as well as a filly by New Approach.

Mark and Isobel Kavanagh would like to thank all of their owners and friends who attended and made the morning a very enjoyable one!
