Christmas presents galore

The Kavanagh stable enjoyed a busy festive period with winners Alezan Thunder, Strum Cha, Set And Forget and Bagman giving their owners a very, merry Christmas.

Speedy two-year-old Alezan Thunder was a record setting winner of the opening race at Sandown on Christmas Eve and was joined later in the day by Morphettville winner Strum Cha who scored a sensational come from behind win in the last race on the program.

The winners continued on Boxing Day with a race to race double in Adelaide.

Set And Forget, first up from a spell, was an all the way winner and was followed by Bagman who took out the day's feature - the Listed $80,000 Christmas Handicap.

Bagman has been a great success since joining the Adelaide stable winning six of nine starts for career earnings of $177,000.
