The 2019 Inglis Classic Sale Delivers
The 2019 Inglis Classic Sales in Sydney were a buyers market and we picked up some outstanding yearlings two of which are featured below.
Lot 576 – Pride Of Dubai x Our Drahma Queen filly
This outstanding filly is from the same family as duel Group One winning mare Suavito, whose foals sold for over $700,000.00 at the recent New Zealand sale.
Her sire Pride of Dubai won the Group One Blue Diamond Stakes, and he is by one of our all time favourite sires Street Cry. The dam of this filly Our Drahma Queen is a winner herself and a half-sister to horses that have won 19 races.
She should be an early runner and could go on to stay and be a classic horse; she may even run an Oaks trip.
She is Super Vobis qualified and this is a family on the way up. This filly will also have excellent residual value as a brood mare.
Purchase Price $52,800.00 (GST Inclusive), to be trained by Mark Kavanagh.

Lot 412 – Rubick x Just A Girl colt
This colt is by Rubick, the most precocious son of Champion sire Encosta De Lago (dec). Rubick's progeny have just started to hit the track and are already achieving great results.
The mother of this colt Just A Girl was a fast sprinting filly who won seven races.
He is a neat type, who looks like he will be able to get up and run as a 2YO. Looking at his pedigree lines and physical attributes, he will be a true sprinter.
He is eligible to compete in the Inglis Race Series that will allow him access to race in the $2million 2YO Inglis Millennium and the $1million Inglis Sprint as a 3YO.
Purchase Price $44,000.00 (GST Inclusive), to be trained by Levi Kavanagh.

As you can see from the pictures they are both really good types. In addition to the purchase prices there will be freight, insurance, veterinary and sale related costs.
Both horses are relaxing out our Gisborne South farm and if anyone wishes to discuss them further or get involved please get in contact with us on 03 9372 6547 or send an email to mark@kavanaghracing.com or levi@kavanaghracing.com
