Treble tilt toward Metro title
The Adelaide stable sits just one win off the lead in what is a hotly contested metropolitan premiership after leading in a treble at Morphettville today.
There is a traffic jam at the top of the Adelaide trainer's table with just a single win separating the top three with the Kavanagh team now in second with 33 wins.
The stable produced the debutants Ziggy's Crown and Resounding Miss who were impressive in their respective races.
Ziggy's Crown, bred and owned by long time stable clients Barry and Marie Vandenbergh, shared the lead before sprinting clear in the straight, recording some smart sectionals. In stark contrast Resounding Miss, a half-sister to stable star Catapulted, settled last and came with a barn storming run in the straight to win by three quarters of a length.
Rounding out the treble was Barabba Rose
