Za Moulin Rouge Queen of Kav's 2YO's

Talented filly Za Moulin Rouge emerged as the Kavanagh stable's leading two-year-old with her debut stakes victory in the $80,000 SAJC Queen of Adelaide Stakes at Morphettville on Saturday.

The win was a tremendous thrill for her proud owners who had traveled from both the west and east coasts of Australia to cheer her home.

The daughter of Street Cry posted a dominant victory in a strong but small field of five and joined Midnight Martini and former stable stars Whobegotyou and Shocking as stakes winners by their sire trained by Mark Kavanagh.

Not surprisingly yearlings by Street Cry have featured heavily in Mark's purchases so far this year and include colts out of Villa Bled and World Peace at the Gold Coast Magic Millions and a colt out of Chinamora from the Karaka sales.
